SATISFACCIÓN

Hoy no puedo evitar sentirme satisfecha y aunque esté agotada después de tantos baños y chapuzones en el mar, me pongo a escribir estas líneas y poder publicar los comentarios que me han enviado Hazel,Jenny y Berenice, participantes del grupo de "Las Tres Marías" sobre su estancia en Getaria en el curso intermedio de Julio. Además de disfrutar de mi trabajo, tengo la gran suerte de conocer gente estupenda y compartir con ellas-os la cultura, el estilo de vida, los lugares ... de mi tierra, tan poco conocida por la mayoría de los europeos:

" I had a great week in Getaria , I loved the walking and being so close to the sea with lots of opportunities for a quick dip.

My Spanish has definitely improved and being with Delfina has given me a very nice insight into the culture of the area. It was also wonderful to meet and interact with so many people.I was delighted to meet and walk with a few of her friends. Delfina engages everyone and brings us all into the conversation, she is a very skilled teacher ...you don’t even know you are learning!

I will be back. "

"Getaria 10-19 July. What a marvellous combination of 'walking and talking' and for me the perfect holiday, hopefully improving my Spanish whilst visiting a new and most attractive part of Spain, the area around Getaria, itself a charming small town with a magnificent church, narrow streets of tall old houses, fishing port and lovely sandy beach. Another bonus for me, the numerous opportunities for “chapuzon”! Delfina is the perfect companion/teacher, full of energy and fun, so never a dull moment! The week's programme was very well planned with interesting outings and activities each day, including of course some splendid meals - and most days ended with an informal teaching session sipping tea on the terrace of one hotel or another. I highly recommend Delfina's courses and can't wait to go again! Delfina, no cambies nada, todo era perfecto! Jenny, one of Las Tres Marias"

"Me gustó mucho mi visita al Pais Vasco. Getaria es un buen centro para visitar muchos lugares interesantes y tiene también todo lo que se puede querer para quedarse de vacaciones – una playa de arena fina, un puerto, restaurantes, tiendas y ‘el ratón de Getaria’, una isla con sus sorpresas (es necesario ir para saber lo que son). Los propietarios del hotel son muy simpáticos y mi habitación era cómoda.

Me gustó mucho la gran variedad de actividades – excursiones a pie en campos tranquilos con vistas preciosas, lugares interesantes tales como un jardín botánico, una feria de artesanía, un pueblo balneario, sin mencionar las playas donde nos dábamos un chapuzón. De todos los lugares que visitamos, lo que más me gustó fue la réplica de las cuevas de Ekain. Antes de verla no podía imaginar que una réplica pudiera ser tan interesante.

Comimos bien, en restaurantes y bares, sobre todo en la aldea de Endoia, donde comimos pollo muy rico criado por la propietaria.
Además, teníamos clases de español para reforzar lo que habíamos aprendido en el idioma durante el día. Al final de la semana, yo hablaba un poco mejor y con más confianza.

Gracias a Delfina, que organizaba todo y nos mostraba tantas cosas interesantes con
entusiasmo y paciencia, y que se aseguraba que pasáramos unas vacaciones estupendas."
